We are driven by the opportunity to address a more significant problem in the commercial real estate market. While it is predicted that its value will surpass $1 trillion in 2025, our connections with developers and property managers revealed inefficiencies such as long vacancy periods and outdated lease management practices. There is a critical need for a better leasing and asset management tool.
As a graduate student, I’ve mentored interns from foreign countries. Each time they arrived, they faced the same challenge: finding an apartment. They’re only here for a few months, often at random times of the year, making it hard to find a place to stay. They can’t sign a year-long lease, and subleasing is tough to find outside the summer period. This often forces them to pay a premium for mediocre housing.
